Barmouth Walking Festival 2013
The 2013 Barmouth Walking Festival takes place from Saturday 14th September to Monday 23rd September 2012. A ten day spectacular with 3 or 4 organised walks each day led by experienced guides, all at a small cost. I note the Cadair Idris walk is already sold out! Walk 26 : Rhinog Fach & Y Llethr looks the most appealing to me if I manage to get to Barmouth during the festival.
For the 2012 Barmouth Walking Festival there were 150 walkers who completed approximately 450 walks between them. So it’s not massive numbers although it is growing year on year. Further details and all the proposed walks can be found at the Barmouth Walking festival website.
Barmouth and the surrounding area is great walking country and ideal for a festival of guided walks. The walking festival is organised by the Barmouth Publicity Association, one of Barmouth’s treasures.
We currently have availability at Penbryn Mynach Holiday Cottage for the whole duration of the walking festival!
