Milltir Cerrig – snow hunting
It was a long journey to Barmouth today. My fault. I decided to travel via a northern route to see the snow before it disappeared. I must have missed the first road ahead shut signs but having gone so far from Knockin on the B4396/B4391 aiming for Bala, I decided to ignore the road ahead shut signs just passed Llangynog and proceed to try and make it over the top of Milltir Cerrig. The picture is of the road behind at the point we made the decision to go no further! We reversed a long way down and then made a very large detour back to the snow free A458.
